Do you work with clay? Are you interested in working with clay? Let's get together and discuss everything having to do with the ceramic/pottery arts. The list includes, but won't be limited to technique, the technical end of things, the business end of things, etc. Once a month we can pick each other's brains and see where it takes us as individual artists and as a group.
We have enjoyed painting pottery and making mosaics for a number of years and now enjoy our latest artful activity-glass fusing! Come learn a new painting technique, make a mosaic or learn the art of fusing glass. Bring your best friend or make new ones. Bring a snack and drink if you'd like.

This group was started because many artists in Austin are less interested in chatting about their art (though it's loads of fun and will be part of all future meetups) and more interested in creating and selling it. The purpose of the group is to develop new venues to display and sell visual art.
